MS Access prob
Hi. I have a have a db table with ID (autonumber) as the primary key. I had 1200 rows in the table but have deleted over of 200 of these, so the last row in the table has an ID of around 1000.However when i now add a new row to the table, the row is assigned 1201 as it's ID. Does anyone know why this is hapening? Thanks in advance,

it is happening because that's the way it works
 the number does not get reset until you compact the database rudy http://r937.com/
