multi-client database design
Hi All,
I am beginning to design a web accessed database that will hold information for many different clients. I am looking for a best practices approach to keeping information from different clients. Should I create separate databases for each new client as they are added to the system, or is that too complicated and bulky. I plan on using MySQL or similar database. I want it to be secure and reliable. Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks |

That is hard to say without out knowing more about what you are trying to do:
things like how will your clients access the database, what type of information will the be accesses etc. |
