    Plotting tree from database

Everybody in this forum must have seen trees ans studied them(Data Structure not the one in your garden or woods)
How Can I plot a tree Using PHP/MySQL?

I know I need 3 columns and I tried it but failed badly. I don't want to share my code (it will tell the world How bad programmer I am) But the problem still persisted. I even don't know where to put this question so I posted it here.

    Hi!

What specifically is the problem? Finding a table schema or mapping the trees to that mysql schema?

On mysql aspects there's a thread here: Building a hierarchical category structure using MySQL

Also some code has been discussed there: Building a hierarchical category structure

    Regards,

    Atrus.

I wanted to develop a finction to display all the threads of post. I am making a discussion board. i found that It is like a tree structure(may be i am wrong). Let me xplain it.
I have a root topic which is branch of a forum category. now this topic can have too many branches but all branches will have some preecidings. I am developing a function to display a topic and it replies. Thats all.
