Question Searching in Access

I have a table in my "Access 2002" database and I'm wishing to set up a form that will allow me to search the table. I want to be able to search 1 field and then multible fields as well with this table search function. Any ideas?

Thanks

To display search results you should use fitlers on the form. To really do it well you need to use VBA... do you know VBA?

I haven't touched on VB at all, is there a way to do this with out VB? Or would it be better to do this in a SQL and PHP application as I know those too well?

Thanks :-)

This sounds like something I wanna do as well... I've played around with the filtering stuff but I dont think its going to do what I want. I'm trying to have a text field that you can enter data into and then it'll search the table and bring up the records that match. I've got a seach algorithm to use, I'm just trying to figure out the text field to search link...

Any ideas?

To be honest, I had the same problem when I only started using MS Access. My advice to you is to only go about using VB, even if you have to pick it up from somewhere. Your query is pretty straightforward, so picking up the correct code shouldn't be a big problem.

Try it - it worked for me
