Selectionproblems
Hello,
I'm trying to make an form for my list of information. The form is already made, now I need to make the filter (on the form). The button (with pulldown) is made, the list (table) from witch the selection has to be made, is ok. Now, the link between the selection that I want to make, and the information in an other list (table), has to be made. But how?? So my intention is, to make a selection out of an existing list, witch will give me a filtered form (or report) from an other list (table). For example : I have 1 list with names of carmakers and an other list of cars in the poolyard. The list with the carmakers will be my selectionlist, and the filter has to run over the other list. So when I select a carmaker, I want to get all the cars, from that carmaker, that are on the poolyard. Help me please. KADANS |

the first thing you should do, when posting into the Databases forum, is mention which database you're using
Ingres? Foxpro? Sybase? the next thing you should do is give us the exact layout of your table |

Selection problems
Quote:
Hello, Thanks for replying on my question. I'm working in MS ACCESS and it is programed in visual basic. I'm don't know anything about vbasic. I'm a CAD-designer trying to get the database working, that is delivered with a cad-program. This is kids stuff, for someone who knows his way around databases. But for me it is a queste. I can't give a layout or table, because it won't work, if you don't have the cad-application. KADANS |
