some DBA questions
Can someone answer following questions? Thanks a lot!
6. Users report that the server has become non-responsive. What are the possible explanations, and how do you check out each one. Please answer in the order in which you judge it to be most reasonable to check this out. A terse columnar answer is acceptable. 7. What are deadlocks? What Transact-SQL feature (or complexity) is normally required for them to occur, but how (why?) might they also occur in a simple situation? |

Umm...
We tend not to enjoy answering homework/test questions. Especially when they are just quoted verbatim. If you are actually working on a real-life problem, and have spent enough time on it to put it in your own words, then you are more likely to get an answer. Sorry

Aren't deadlocks those things some people do to their hair?
---John Holmes... Sorry, I don't know the answer to either one. |
