Table as argument into stored procedure
I want to write a stored procedure that can operate on different tables. I'm willing to do the work to make sure the tables have the correct fields, but I need to know if it's possible to pass the name (or other identifier) of the table into the procedure as an argument, and then select on that table?
Failing that, could I pass an existing selection into the procedure and use it somehow? |
