Techniques for synchronizing and merging Access DB's
What would be the preferred way to Sychronize outlook contacts to contacts in another Client Access DB on the same server. I'm really new to Outlook, VB, and Access and would appreciate any help you might be able to offer. The main things I would like it to do are:
1) Automatically update the CLinet Access DB when a change is made by a user in their contact info. 2) Allow users to see contacts in the Access DB as contacts in Outlook. 3)When a new Contact is added by a user in Outlook that contact info should automatically be updated or inserted into the Client Access DB. Anoth question I have is "Where is the Outlook Contact DB located?" AM I completely off base? How does Access store contacts on the server? |
