txt file to Access table

Hello,

I am trying to make life a little easier. I have a flat file that I use to import into an Access table to manipulate the data and then export it back to the flat file for processing.

I tried to link the file to the table and unfortunately I keep getting a error message saying "updating a linked table is not support for this ISAM". I then looked and found that my Jet doesn't support this but when I went to Microsoft they had a service pack that should take care of this issue. I loaded the new service pack and it didn't work.

Is there a way I can do this, because I have been told by having to import each flat file into the Access table and then exporting in order to process is too much work?
