Hi All,
I have MS SQL and few months back I had loaded, installed and had worked on it with user as administrator, with connection as Windows authentication. Now later I have created another user <myname> and have give all rights and privileges as of the administrator. With this new user I am not able to start the MS SQL service or I am not able to create new server What is wrong for the above mention case? What should I do? I don’t want to login now as an administrator to start the MS-SQL now and then, please advice. Regards Arun Kumar mail me at URL |

Hi Guys,
My problem is solved by one of my old friend Anup, who replied me on chat. He suggested I should go to START->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services And for MSSQL Services Right Click -> Properties ->Log On and change the “This account” from administrator to <myname> Start the services now and ~Tada~ my MS SQL is up and running Hats-off to Anup Thanks and Regards Arun Kumar |
