Very big database systems list

I would like to find a list or a report with some of the most known very large database systems (range of terrabytes) around the world.

A quick answer would be very helpful

It's not really a good idea to make extra demands of people who are willing to give free info on a voluntary basis .

Not sure which RDBMS you're looking for info on, but check out this list for postgres. Not sure of the exact sizes, but for all of them, but it lists the American Chemical Society link as having over 1 terabyte of info. There's probably more in that list that aren't explicitly stated, but you may be able to get more info by looking through the list a bit more.

Almost any site using NCR Teradata will have terabyte databases. Here's a few that come to mind (mainly UK companies)

Abbey National (bank)
LloydsTSB (bank)
Barclays (bank)
Telecom Eireann (telecoms - Ireland)
WalMart (US - retail - largest Teradata DB in existence) *
Great Universal Stores (retail)
Royal & Sun Alliance (insurance)
Pick 'n Pay (retail - South Africa) *

* - I think!

Hope this helps...
