Connecting to DB2 using C#

Hi there. I'm a complete newbie to .NET and need to connect to a DB2 database using a web service written in C#. What are my options? There is an IBM DB2 add-in for Visual Studio .NET but I'm looking for a more standard solution, maybe OLE DB or ODBC but I'm not sure where to start. Can any one give me some hints? Thanks a lot
