DB2 File Open Error

I am using DB2 version 8.2.2, however, when i want to open script using the command editor, the following errors appear:

Quote:
SQL4414N The DB2 Administration Server is not active.

Explanation:

The request cannot be processed unless the DB2 Administration
Server is active.

User Response:

Start the DB2 Administration Server by issuing the command
DB2ADMIN START, and reissue the request.

then, i try to issue the command, DB2ADMIN START, however, i still cant open my SQL script.
so can anyone help me to solve this problem???
thank you

Did you make sure that DAS is running? Check the Services to see if DB2DAS is started.

finally, i solved the problem by starting the DB2DAS services.
before that, i stopped the services from running to save my windows resources.
after i start it back, i can open those scripts.
thank you
