db2 installation on LINUX

Hi,
i have just installed the db2 v8.1 on Redhat linux 8.
I have used the db2setup wizard to create the instance, users, groups etc.
I have not taken the default user names, instead i have changed them.
The installation was successful, but i am not able to start anything as the folders under the instance home directory are not created and there are no environment variables established.

The instance username i created is testInst, and the home directory is /home/testInst

There are no directories created under the home directory like sqllib etc.

I have just copied the db2profile file from /IBM/v81/cfg folder into the home directory and executed as it is,still the env parameters are not set and nothing is working.

Can anyone tell me the steps of configuring the things.

If i run the setup wizard with the default users listed, then all the folders are created properly and db2 works fine.

Any help is appreciated.
Sri
