DB2 Installation problem
I'm trying to install the DB2 run-time client tools for DB2 version 6.1 on my new windows 2003 server so as to access a DB2 installation on a NT box. The installation seems to work fine, but when I start the Client Configuration Assistant, it gives me error SQL5001N and tells me the logon for my system doesn't have sufficient authority to make changes to the database manager configuration file. I'm logged on as the local computer administrator. Any idea why it won't let me change settings? Thanks in advance for any help (expecially useful help). ![]() |

Maybe because you are 2 major versions behind? DB2 is a 8.2, so this installer was likely tested on Win95.
