DB2 TCP/IP connection
Hello,
I am new to DB2 database, I installed DB2 Express-C on windows XP running on VMware with local user and when i run task center, it's saying DB2 Message DBA1176N The Control Center failed to automatically catalog the Tools Catalog Database "" for system "VMWARESP". Explanation: Possible explanations are: o The database is specified incorrectly at the DB2 Administration Server for system "<system-name>". o The database manager that contains the database is not configured for TCP/IP communication. User Response: Possible solutions include: o Verify that the DB2 Administration Server configuration parameters are correctly specified. o Verify that the database manager is configured for TCP/IP communications. If the problem persists, contact IBM Support. How to configure TCP/IP communication for DB2 which is running on Virtual Mechine windowsXp. your relpy is valuable. thanks in advance. |
