how to upload a flat file to a database table

Hi Friends,

how to upload a flat file to a database table using d2k forms.

for example you are having a flat file contains the text where u want to upload that to the specific table in the respective fields by splitting the content which was there in text file. We want to omit the heading, footer and topics text autometically when we try to upload the text file to the database table.

Please kindly help me to find the solution.

DB2 has an import command (here) but if you are wanting to manipulate the data a specific way before you import it into the table that I suggest that you write a script to deal with the file and possible insert it inside the script instead of using the import command.
