Trouble installing DB2 Ecpress C V9.5 on Ubuntu
Following the directions, I typed:
/opt/ibm/db2/V9.5/instance/dascrt -u dasusr1
and got:
DBI1088E Invalid access permission detected for directory
/home/dasusr1/das.
Check permissions for the given directory and restart the install
process. Suggested directory permissions are u=rwx,go=rx
these are the permissions as they stand now…
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 2009-05-14 10:12 home
drwxr-xr-x 3 dasusr1 dasadm1 4096 2009-05-14 10:46 dasusr1
drwxrwsrwt 2 dasusr1 dasadm1 4096 2009-05-14 10:46 das
Do I need to change the permissions and try the dascrt again? How do i do that?
