DBExpress and DBGrid SQL Filters
Hello guys, i've been migrating from MS Access Database to MYSQL, and now im using the DBExpress components to connect. It's all ok, i had the problem with the grids, but its solved (50%). My problem is, that i had a lot of SQL filters, and the clientdataset seems like it isn't "refreshing", like, it isn't getting the TSQLQuery SQL filters.
I have like this:
1 TSQLQUERY , and this is the one that i insert SQL filters.
1 DATASETPROVIDER connected to the TSQLQUERY.
1 CLIENTDATASET connected to the DATASETPROVIDER.
Now its the same as ACCESS DB's, 1 DBGRID connected to a TDataset, and that TDataset is connected to the previous CLIENTDATASET.
So, if i filter the TSQLQUERY with some SQL code, like "Select * from T_users where name='John', the DBGRID doesn't makes anything, its just shows every record, like there isnt any SQL filtering!
You guys know the solution to my problem?
