i heard that delphi 8 is for .Net only.
Can only use 7 or lower to develop windows app.
Delphi 7 license comes with Delphi 8.

Is this true. I've been thinking of starting to use delphi as i know it is almost as fast as C and much easier to use than C/C++/VC++. But I just got Delphi 8 and I don't always want to have to develop .NET apps. Does this mean I have to se delphi 7??

Delphi 6 also has a personal version out there that is Free.
Unless you want it on CD then it is around $100.00.
I have not installed D7 yet. and have not even bothered
With D8, and now there is a D9 scheduled for 2005 release.
So Borland is over killing us with there IDE's :-)
But looking at the Demo, it looks awsome.
And supports Win32 App. Design, .NET & ? cannot remember what else..
