been deploying delphi 7 (32 bit) applications to 64 bit machines (including ms windows server) for a number of years. Mostly the OS's are backward compatible and we have found very little incompatibility and / or issues.

    1. You'll be limited in accessible memory (up to 4gb? i think)
    2. Registration of any OCX components follow a slightly different process than on a 32bit os (this you'll have to google for details)
    3. Installations install to Program Files (x86)
    4. You need to ensure that any dll's you interface remain 32bit as well. You cannot directly interact with a 64dll from a 32bit application / process. Both need to be the same (and with delphi 7 it will always be 32bit).

Other than that (excluding anything I possibly missed) installation and running is fairly much the same in my books.
