Have Programming Project, please help me.

Hello, i have to do a make a LAN competition administration project. I am a beginner on delphi, i have knowledge on using basic components and i have some understanding of Object Orientated Programming. I would like to make use of Object Orientated Programming (creating my own objects/methods etc.) even though im quite new to creating objects and methods for them.

The program will have to integrate with microsoft access, that i know how to do.

i would like to know what requirements would i need to make the program, such as :

What must my program be able to do exactly?
What extra or useful features would be useful or helpful the the user?
What input will i need ?
What information will the user of the Administration program need and what output from the program does he want to see?

I also would like tips on how to make a good GUI for such a program. Please if you can give me a link to an example of such a program.

Only you can answer this as this will be your program.

We can not do your project for you, we can not do your coding for you.

For a start, What do you want it to do? - Scan IP ranges?

Do you even know about private IPs, subnets, gateways etc?

It seems to me like you've got a assignment from school or college and you don't even know what network admin is..
