no .exe file after i save project?
Hello, following the tutorial for delphi six on about.com, ( i am using delphi version 7 though) i go to file--> save all.
after i save, i do not get a .exe file for my project, how come? on the tutorial, it says i should get the .exe file after saving. thx |

EXE files are generated only if you compile (or run) the project. If the tutorial suggests that you will get an EXE by saving all, I would strongly suggest finding a new tutorial.

lol..
umm the thing is, the tutorial did say to compile it. basically this is what i did 1) create a new application project 2) add a very simple code (1 line) 3) press f9 to compile and run it 4) use save all however, i still do not see a .exe file? ![]() |

ok stupid me...
when i complied and runed it, a .exe was created, but it was created in the default folder. when i saved, i saved it to a custom folder...thus there is no .exe in the custom folder.... ![]() |
