Update access database file online

Hi guys,

I created a program that uses an access database file, btw everything works fine, the only thing I want is that the database file is updated (once a month maybe), but the program (multiple people of friends use it) needs to auto update the file (replacing the old one) once in a while or with the push of a button.

One person updates the file and uploads it online.

Can the update look on the database file and see the size or date when created so it knows when an update it ready or not?

Please some help.

Hope you all understand what I want.
