Using a TListBox instead of an array of string?
On several programs I see people that use hidden TListBox's instead of using an array of string. Does this make a difference in speed / size or anything? And if so is the difference miniscule?

in the digital age where we live, the memory problem are minuscule..
I think is only an extetic problem

array's are very usefull and "pratici" (maybe pratics) i don't know how to translate it in english :P)
The only matter's if you declare and array [1..100] of char and you use only 5 array, the system alloc 100 memory zone.
An listbox is bigger than array but the difference i think is minuscule.

Ah..i've said it without know nothing about memory ^.^

Why use a TListBox, when all you need is a TStringList object. That's what I always use. After all, people only use TListBox.Items which is a TStringList object.
