Vista x64 + Delphi Explorer
Hi folks
I have a problem (many infact) but one I wondered if you might be able to help with. I have installed on my computer Delphi 7, but have decided to upgrade to delphi explorer v?.?
but I cant get it to install.
When I run the installer, it tells me I need ms.net framework 1.1 sp1
before it can continue. But vista comes with a later version of ms .net frame work installed, but the delphi installer seems to specifically look for ver 1.1 sp1, and when it sees its not there it refuses to run. I cant install 1.1 sp1 anyway I tried and windows informs me a the later version is installed. Its a bit of a catch 22.
Surely delphi can be installed on vista (later than 7), do any of you guys know a way round this.
Im dual booting vista x86 and x64 on my computer if that helps.
any help would be mucho appreciated.
Thanks
R
