what to do when it is not possible to open form?

I'm using Deplhi6 and all is OK, excpet for one form - when I try to open it I get "access violation at address 400236DE in module 'rtl60.bpl'. Read of address 00000000."

I can't uderstand what to do? The strange thing is that I can compile the sorce code and even edit it (using wordpad) and compile then - all this comes with success, however - I can't open .pas nor form in IDE.

OK - I observed that strange things happen for one component - when I click onto it for opening designer - then Delphi simpli exit without any message - can I suppose that exactly this compnent can make some trouble?

Have you tried using the component in a new application? That will zero in the cause.
