working with Windows Services

Ive created a Windows Services which works no problems.

I now want to create a simple form that tells the user the status of the service and be able to start and stop it.

Im slowly making my way through the help files but it hasn't quite sink in yet.

can anyone give me any tips??

P.s also if pos i would like to start and stop the service from a different machine

First, read the MSDN pages for OpenSCManager() and QueryServiceStatus()

Then, look at this delphi unit. All your questions can be handled by this unit.
