    change procedure definition


    hello,
    i was asking this before but didn't get good answer ....

    the example:

    i build an application with one button component and 1 procedure that acts on onclick event.
    I compile it and build exe.

    But when i would like to change the body of the proc i have to recompile the project ......

    Is it possible to have body of the proc stored for ex. iin the txt file and the app would compile it "on the fly"

    Not if the body of the procedure is written in a compiled language like Delphi or C++ Builder. On the other hand, if you're writing the body of the procedure in some interpreted language like python, you can make the Delphi procedure read the text file and pass the python code on to a python interpreter to process and read the results back.
