Running an old Delphi3 executable in Win 7?

    Hi,

I have an app I did back in 1995 in Delphi 3 that ran under windows. I'd like to be able to run it again in Win7 64b.

None of the compatibility modes has worked yet.

    Any ideas?

I've tried to avoid getting into running XP virtual machines so far. I'd just as soon not do that.

    Thanks.

    Delphi3 was already Windows 32-bit I believe.
    What makes it incompatible?
Did you use some 16-bit component(s)?

I don't remember using anything out of the ordinary, just normal functions.

When I run it it should open a UI window, but nothing happens.

It's a program that does quite a few DSP functions on waveforms, FFT's, filters, etc.

Is Delph3 compatible with Win XP? I suppose I could try resurrecting that if I had to.

I don't know a tremendous amount about programming apps for windows, even back when I wrote this I wouldn't call myself a programmer.

    Thanks.
