    Delphi Database help (http://i48.tinypic.com/i1lnad.jpg)


    I am currently working on a order database using Delphi, i want the two order ID (circled in red) to have the same order id, it should remain the same for as many items as the customer wants until a new customer , moves on when the next Id when there is a new customer.

    Adoorderline : I would use a Tadodataset with "Select * from Orderline were OrderNo=:OrderNo".
    Adoorderline.datasource:=dsOrders;
    Adoorderline.Masterfields := 'OrderNo';
    Adoorderline.IndexFieldNames := 'OrderNo';

    I got it to work before you replied, although my solution was slightly different i think .
