Image processing (for a simple 2d game)
I'd like to make a simple 2D game, say, a clone of "Plant Tycoon".
I want to use only Delphi 7, I don't want to dive into all that OpenGL stuff (if it's possible). Can someone give me a hint which functions/methods/controls should I concentrate my attention? Or it will be easier to use that OpenGL stuff?
The game will only need static images and dragdrop. Maybe blending one image to another (like plant growing) and some particles.

I know a toolkit that provides functions and structures for image processing. I'm not sure if you can do all your requirements using this toolkit, because you asked a general question and not specific image processing functionality. I know they supports Delphi, check this page:
