It's mostly because i focused on it during writing a program, to learn Python and just get used to it.

Not yet for this. I might try it soon, but for now i'll try to find and use a method making it a 'standalone' and more flexible application. Maybe with sending it's own http requests instead of telling Firefox what to do.

I think that is similiar to what f'lar's client does, though i don know VB or any server to client interaction on the program level yet.

I decided to try and go ahead and do a C/GTK+ based client. Got code to make the HTTP requests now, starting on the GUI and I need to map out the forums and figure out what parameters need sent and such.

Maybe I'll level up faster with a client, and then be somewhat of a match for people here lol.

You're not automating multiple battles with one click are you? Because the last time people did that they completely reset the arena, putting everyone back at level 1.

For those others who are making their own clients, the ArenaConstants.ini file in my project will be helpful. It's just a text file with a lot (but not all) of the text I used to parse out the html and create requests. The text they send to your browser isn't formated very well (all the content is on just a few very long lines), so it could save you a lot of time.

It could do it, because it does just what i would do when i choose to slay some monsters. Currently i'm using the SendKeys module sending keyboard input to Firefox. But since i wasn't abled to find a way to check content within Firefox yet, it would go mad when anything unusual happens(e.g. enemy evades).
