Character Choices

How do our character choices (Element, Race, Class, etc.) affect our characters?

E.g. Do different races have different advantages/disadvantages?

and

What's the difference between a Scout and a Ninja, or a Barbarian and a Ranger etc.

You can always alter your character, I did.

yep alter at will, and yes each race and class affects your stats, for example trolls have a higher hitting power.

That reminds me trolls should regenerate much faster then any other class.

You only want that 'cos you can't duck!

So you're saying if I switch my character to a troll before breaking for lunch I'll have more HP when I come back later that afternoon?

Quick question; do the Elements actually influence anything yet?
They don't seem to influence any stats so I've just set mine to fire (because that what my spells are), just in case.

I suspect they are just 'flavour' and/or cosmetic at the moment, though they do suggest that some interesting stuff may be possible - fire versus water, etc.

Your suspicions may or may not be correct

I suspect that your comment may have an element of veracity to it. On the other hand, there is an equal chnace that, so far, it may not be totally correct

how do you find out what level someone else's character is?

It's available via the Extended RPG stats pop-up menu option when you click on a name in a thread - the one just to the right of the avatar.

Click on there name here on the forum and choose "View Extended RPG Stats"

Might be cool to add the RPG link to our Profile pages too.
