So how exactly do you earn devs in the battle arena, besides becoming a 'theif'?

Increase your post count! Every time you post, you get 15 devs (and probably some XP). But be aware that you cannot just post anything for the sake of devs. The moderators are kind but not lenient.

You also get devs by killing monsters. Occasionally they will drop money when they die. If you really want to play in the arena I recommend checking out the ArenaClient++ thread- I've posted a program on the 2nd page there you can download that will make some things easier.
