[LOTGD] Ingredients & Potions?
Is there any point to making potions? I think they can only be used in the "Magical Arena" - whatever that is.
Also it says that potions have little to no effect until you've levelled them a few times - and it takes 20 potions to level! I'm wondering if I should sell my ingredients instead.

You get like 1000 gold per ingredient, and you get to keep ingredients after a dragon kill. So what I would do is use the ingredients to jump-start my funds after a DK, so I can get some good armor faster and start earning interest sooner.

Where can you sell ingredients for 1,000 gold?

Speaking of clans, has anyone noticed the new clan features as of last week? Theres more where those came from... |

Hmm, nope.
But I was just thinking... clans permeate after Dragon Kills. And clans need gold? So if clans have their own Treasury or something, it would be a way to save gold. Bit of a cheat for individuals, but essential for clans I would think. |

Well, clans have new settings as it is, but one of the things on my list, when I have time, are a whole slew of clan goodies (treasury, barricks, training options, etc). |

Thanks b3n.
I've got a couple of herbs, but I'm a monk now - no weapons or armour. What other useful stuff is there to buy? |

A Steed like a Stallion is very useful. They cost gems but they give you attack bonuses that increase as your level does. They also give you extra forest fights per day.
Buying an alcoholic drink is usually good too. you usually get increased attack and sometimes an extra turn or 2. The Mule Daniels is really good for fighting people with! Generally the more expensive the drink the better. Rarely they make you ill or too drunk. I think the Haberno Martini always gives you negative defence. |

Funny the way I brought RL into this game.
I don't drink much in RL, so haven't bought a drink yet. Thanks for the tip. If I ever get enough gems together I will definitely buy me a stallion - more fights per day is what clinches that one. Thanks for the tips, much appreciated. |
