Sounds much like my policy ... I have braved the waters of the Training Dummy and the two above that, but as you say, doing limited damage means they get to slap you around the park!

Per nature, cats always land on their feet.
So, what happens when you strap buttered toast to the back of a cat and throw it out a window?

If, when you go to Monster Arena for a battle, and get up the list of the available beasties, click on the info link instead of the start battle one - you'll see what xp each beastie offers, plus what it's stats are.

I have it in a little spreadsheet up to the Coeurl (currently the highest i can fight).

I wonder what % of implementation the arena is at currently.

An interesting question, which raises the issue of what, exactly, is going to be available?
For the basic stuff, what we can see from the current front-end, I reckon probably around up to 75% is done. That could be a little more or less, depending on how much is working for Clan-based stuff: currently two clans, each with just the founder in them so cannot really tell how they wull function.

The Munmar seems to be, currently, my cost-effective critter - two slaps to take one down, often it's first action will be to boost it's limit, thus not damaging me!

the bugger normally just hit me for 37ish first round but wouldnt get another strike.

I wonder how importantant the elemental aspect will be also the location of the fight. For example will a good fire based character be at a disadvantage on a pirate ship at night etc etc

Either you shave your beaver or you don't... not really much of a choice there, is there?
