How do you make more money. 10 fights a day isn't very good. |
Its 10 fights per gameday. And to be honest, those who do well usually win more fights as they play. there are several gamedays in one real day.
Quote: I lost my pet in the PIT of Rebirth after clicking 'Does it hurt?'. I had a Feral Cat and didn't really want to loose him.
Shouldn't you get a description of or answer to your question 'Does it hurt?' before you have no choice but be dumped into the PIT of Rebirth?
The pet was very useful . . . |
In big red letters when you enter the pit:
A sign hovers above the pit, reading 'YOU RISK LOSING EVERYTHING IF YOU DONT LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!'
Thats pretty clear.
And the BattleArena stuff has nothing to do with the LOTGD.

Quote: | And you're not the first to say that about the Pit of Rebirth. | Thanks b3n - I've seen SimonGreenhill complain about that one. I think there are three options that basically boil down to jump in, don't jump in, and "does it hurt" - which doesn't mean you're going to jump in - yet you do.

I know you're the mod/code fixer - so kudos to you, please just appreciate that some things to the uninitiated aren't as obvious as you might think, that's all.
I'm enjoying the game - keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kudos. Just keep in mind, that the game is intended to have some twists and surprises. So if things arent always obvious, then they arent supposed to be. Its part of the game.

This weird thing has been happening since my first dragon kill...
Sporadically, my opponents get 2 attacks instead of 1. Very rarely, I get 2 attacks and my opponent only gets 1.
E.g.
Sometimes things like this happen:
Quote: You hit Dragon Watcher, Junior Class for 26 points of damage!
Dragon Watcher, Junior Class hits you for 14 points of damage!
Dragon Watcher, Junior Class tries to hit you but MISSES! |
Quote: You hit Wooly Mammoth for 16 points of damage!
Wooly Mammoth tries to hit you but you RIPOSTE for 2 points of damage!
Wooly Mammoth tries to hit you but you RIPOSTE for 1 points of damage! |
Quote: You hit Wooly Mammoth for 17 points of damage!
Wooly Mammoth hits you for 9 points of damage!
Wooly Mammoth hits you for 9 points of damage! |
Why?!

Don't know if anybody posted this one...
I was a swordsman, but once i killed the green dragon, i decided to be a monk. The problem is, i ha a custom weapon as a swordsman, and it always tries to give it back to me with every new day. is that normal? do i just upgrade the weapon and set it aside and that is how a monk becomes more powerful? i'm looking at it more as a bug.

never played a monk here, but normally in rpgs monks can't carry weapons, IMO they should be able to have a custom weapon because it's custom to there monk class

That doesn't make any sense to me because, as I said, sometimes I get 2 attacks and the monster only gets 1

someone was saying maybe when that happens it's because your pet is attacking?

I've noticed that too. Check your pet mood to see if there is a correlation. What I have observed so far is when my pet is sleepy or bored, the opponent tends to get a double attack ( though they riposte both times ), and when the mood is hyper or happy, I get a double attack.
I'm not very good at observations anyway.

I'll keep an eye out.
If it IS from pets then it there should be some kind of message to that effect.
E.g. Your pet distracts your enemy! or Your pet scurries between your legs and trips you over!
EDIT:
I can't see any relationship. I checked for a whole game day spent forest fighting.
I got 2 duplications:
Pet Mood: Happy
Pet Mood: Wants to potty
But it also had those moods for many other attacks, in which there were no duplicates.

Does that mean i should be able to upgrade my hands? or is it all just from leveling?
Also here is a bug. when you use flury of blows it says:
"you wax on wax off, you wax him for {damage} damage."

I've played some RPGs where the monk character can get various kinds of brass knuckles. You could upgrade those.

If you die in the abandoned castle and resurrect, you can go back in the castle and you get the same castle map again. Maybe that's just a 'feature'
There was something else peculiar I'd found to do with the afterlife and the castle, but I can't remember it at the moment. Maybe I'll post it later.
