Short answer, no. Cant remove the yellow, since yellow is used on the two sidebars.

But wherever yellow exists on white, I can fix it. The taunts should be fixed now. (the yellow thing in your image was a taunt)

Old taunts in the news will still be yellow. This fix is for new taunts from here on out.

Ok, white and yellow SHOULD no longer be possible in the NEWS area. Instead of chasing them down, I actually modified the addnews function to replace them with readable colors.

I clicked the 'look for something to battle' link, and it said "You were really lucky and found 25 gold.'

Didn't get a gold increase though.

Was it something like this?

"Fortune smiles on you and you find xx gold!"

If so, it adds the gold before even showing you the message. The code is quite straight forward, and leaves no room for bugs.
