Go to cell A1 (top left) in any of the pyramids and there should be an option to leave the pyramid.

Seperate bug
After selling my farmhouse in Port Royal, I can no longer slay the dragon. I needed to buy/construct a new house before I could slay the dragon again.

Seems to be some server problems. There appears to be 2 active instances of the game simultaneously. Alternately connecting to the 2 instances. What I do in one instance does not affect the other.

Serious timeouts for several days now making game very hard to play and frequently drops into a second instance when timeout occurs.

Certainly looks to be!

The 2nd instance seems to be gone but there seems to be some serious lagging in the DB access IMO.
Pages load the header quickly and then sit there wheel spinning for several to several tens of seconds for each move before the rest of the page loads up.

Look inside the source code.
There are two tags for each page view.
It's been like that since the beginning.

Does that mean if we can identify the inner page name we can play without that annoying huge top section on every page load

Yes, there are 2 sets of , and tags since LOGD appeas to be completely embedded as another site rather than built in. I wonder if they were taken off would the pages load faster?

Rick (or whoever is managing this game now) would have to go through all the LotGD files and remove quite a lot of code to make that happen.
The reason is (and I'm guessing here) that devshed have a template for all pages (which inc. ... etc) that calls the LotGD pages (which inc. ... etc).
It's just a big pain in the arse arduous job and I don't think anyone wants to spend the time doing it.
Imagine all the testing required and all the permutations you'd have to go through to doubly doubly check everything went swimmingly!!
Nah, I can't see it happening - just got stick at it.
It is very frustrating ... I know.
On a plus side for the devshed ... double page views (Am I being a little sceptical saying that?)
devshed have > 278,000 members active or otherwise. I don't know exactly how their advertising revenue model is but if it's based on page views then playing these games is a bit of a bonus for them - get double page views is ... ? A double bonus.
I don't think it's about the money though, I think it's about the time needed to correct the issue.

And considering the issues that were caused by them testing a new database it's no suprise. The test DB was what was causing the issues of two games running at the same time. And wasn't that just a big pain in the you know where.
