I find the doubling method works ok but only up to 8 or 16 devs, thne I start failing. I've never tried to take more than that. But shouldn't I have a better chance of success, being a level 16 Thief?

EDIT:
I had 135 devs and lost it all trying to steal. The most I tried was 20 once. Is there any point to being a thief, if all characters can steal better than mine?

I've had a poor run of thieving of late but I notice when your theft fails you always lose 0 reputation, is it possible to lose more than 0 and what does it affect?

that's what I do, and I'm the poor

about the reputation, it seems to be implemented on other sites just not dev shed, like it was on ASPfree and it was on dev archives and dev articles
