This. Is. Wrong.

What's the point of tracking wins and losses if the monsters can come back from the dead to automatically kill you? Also, take away their abilities to destroy your equipment, at least as long as Devs are hard to come by. If you want to make them special, give them magic. And add more equipment.

But I would change so much of this Battle system that I would probably re-write it from scratch - and I don't expect the mods to do that. They are probably already busy enough.

The monster's final comeback attack doesn't always kill you. Sometimes it just gives a ton of damage. I've managed to survive a couple times now.

Mummar came back to life on me too. But turning into acid and killing you? YUCK! He only hit me with a 1000 dmg. That did kill me though.

as you fight stronger monsters your chances of finding larger amounts of devs increases from what I see. Sometimes I find 3 or 4, other times 150+
