A good cause

Hello Devshed Members,

I've never posted about something like this before, however I have found this site which I believe is for a very good cause.

This site, run by M&M Meat Shops, donates $1 to the Chron's and Colitis Foundation of Canada each time someone agrees to have dinner with family and friends on November 3. This is a great way to help out charity just by sitting down and having a meal with your family.

Please visit the site above and check the checkbox to register, and M&M will donate $1 to charity. That's all you have to do to help out.

M&M Meat Shops... ?
Never heard of it. Where might I find said meat shop?

And more importantly, do they give out free samples?

I have communal dinner every night, so it wasn't really a consideration. But I clicked on it for ya (I'm not in Canada, does it still count?)

Hmm, well it seemed like a fair cause - and not much trouble on our part. I'm not buying any M&M meat, and I wasn't being sold anything either.

And exactly this is the suspicious part.
What do they need your click for if they want to spend money?
Answer: They dont need it. They just want you to visit their site.

In the Ontario area M&M's have always been a big supporter of the Chron's and Colitis Foundation. They have even hosted annual BBQ's giving away their products for free and only asking for a donation, of any size, in return.

The owner actually lives in my area, so I know how rich this business has made their family. I can only guess that someone in that family sufferes from Chron's or Colitis, since it seems to be the charity they favour most.

Someone who ate too much of their product I'll wager

My mom actually has Crones and we went to one of M&M's free BBQ's this summer and we were all laughing over the fact that they were offering greasy hamburgers and hotdogs to people with Crones. But it's all for a good cause and they raised alot of money.
