anyone done live radio on their site?
I'd like to offer live radio via my website. The radio stations concerned are keen so no problem there. I believe that they do digital broadcasts so that should make things easier (or so I'm told).
How do I go about putting them on my site. Is there some software (shareware hopefully) that I could use? Is there a forum or website where I could read up on the subject? Any help most welcome.

Hi, I think you should look for icecast (www.icecast.org) or realserver (www.realnetworks.com) the first is opensource, the second has a basic version which is free, it's easier to manage but is limited in number of contemporaryl users, but the main problem for you will be the bandwidth consumed!
Apple quicktime/darwin straming server (www.opensource.apple.com) should be worth an eye, but I don't know if it's suitable for audio only. Hope this helps!
