Question Anyone here into firearms? - got question about optics....
As the subject says, I am looking for optics or a scope for my rifle. Have any of you had good experiences with a certain brand of optics?

I am curently looking into a Pentax Scope, which can be seen here from Cabelas, the 3.7-11 power. Has anyone ever used a Pentax Scope?

BTW - this will be mounted on a Ruger KM77R Mach II Stainless - Centerline Bolt Action chambered for 270 Winchester....

Sorry jpenn I'm a bowhunter so I can't be of much help. Pentax is a good brand so I don't think you can go wrong. Although I've always been a leupold fan.

I'd bet you could find some hunting forums on the net where you might get some product reviews. All the ones I know are bowhunting sites, so that wouldn't be much help.
