Cheap laptops for around £500 - £700??
I'm considering purchasing a laptop.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any laptops from about £500, im not looking for anything too flashy.....just something reasonable.....with at least 256 mb RAM and has a floppy drive.

Well, don't know what the conversion rate is on that to US $'s, but http://www.tigerdirect.com probably has the best pricing on laptops anywhere - most of them are factory refurbished and come with manafacturers waranties.

yeah, had a look...theres some good stuff....but then you get into the problem of compatiablity....e.g. power packs...etc....
