curious
Linux is like crack to me, can't compute without it. I just can't program on anything else, especially Windows (It makes me feel dirty for some reason).
Anyway, I'm also fascinated with OS X, whenever I go to Fry's I always check out Apples notebooks. I'm impressed with it, and since I'm in the market for a laptop, the 15" PowerBook is on my list. My question is is Mac OS X a good development platform, or should I stick with x86 notebook running some random flavor of Linux? ![]() |

honestly, i think that with all the money required you to buy a new mac, you can take a full-power pc laptop and intall linux on it.
Also i think that OSX isn't good as a real BSD or Linux (in terms of software development). Just my 2 cents ![]() |
