Decorate a laptop? (sticker or something, maybe?)
I just got my wife a new IBM laptop and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a website that sells a way to "decorate" laptop lids? Like a sticker or something that can be put on it. IBM only does the "business black" (well, some are "titanium", now), which is fine with me, but sort of plain for her. She's in a "pink phase" now, because she's the only woman in the house.

If all else fails, I can just whip out a can of spray paint, eh?

If you want to make it special, I'd find an airbrush artist. Seal off all the ports and the screen with masking tape an wax paper. Have them do a nice design on it incorporating Kittens or puppies or flowers or whatever turns her on. I figure it should cost about the same as a nice tattoo ;-)

Get a decorative fan guard for a PC, lay it on top of the laptop which has been mostly taped over and spray it. I'm thinking if you're using one of those `biohazard` fan grills.

I did come across Skyn covers while searching. They look pretty nice and are something like what I'm after.

Let me know if you find anything else, though.

EDIT: Found Schtickers, too. I think I can find a design here that she'll like. I should give credit to Shiny Shiny, too, which lead me to each page.

When I bought my CPU, the P4 was the only chip with an 800Mhz FSB you insensitive clod!

Anyway, I like the idea of a pattern and spraypaint. Maybe you could make a "snowflake" design by folding and cutting some heavy paper and painting the cover.

I don't know. I put the Atari sticker from the UT2004 box on my monitor. I have no taste.
