It may just be the server it's on. Crashes without warning, for long periods at a time.

Imagine how inviting this first visit became. And I never got a proper response what so ever. Not the most encouraging exercise for the BBS and it's proffessional discipline when a new prospective client/ webmaster comes along.

So there was no interest, deal with it. If someone was interested, they would of contacted you regardless of the other squabbles going on.

Think about it though. This forum is full of developers and would-be developers. Who is going to hire someone?? Every once in a while you get someone coming along looking for a programmer, but hopefully they are posting in the Help Wanted forum. If you had posted there, you may of gotten a better response.

Old Boys Club
I have been visting this site for two years now and to be quite honest some people have helped me, however there is an atmosphere of an "old boys club" here.

This is proven by the fact that the moderator immediatley jumped in and took the side of one of the other members. Who by some suprising coiencidence happened to be a long serving member of the board, the thread should have been closed and if the message was too offensive removed.

Ok she promoted herself, so what? she didnt harm anyone again if it was that bad remove the message.

The other thing is people who write webpages on how one should and shouldnt ask questions on a forum have too much time on their hands dont patronise the rest of the human race beacuse you think you know it all. Things like that put people off from asking questions as no one likes being talked down to.

Geeks do my head in, get a life people cyber space is not real, and in the real world you need money to live not the "i know it all attitude" so if E makes some money good on her.

And if anyone wants to have a go all i got to say is "Bring it " as it lightens up my day
