dreamweaver lockup

Hi,

Not sure where this one goes, so give it a run out here.
I have a problem with dreamweaver and wonder if someone can give me a solution.
The problem is, when i press f12 to view the page in browser sometimes (most times) my computer locks up and i have to reboot. I am running under windows ME (had same problem under win98 also).
Anyone else expierienced/solved this problem ? If so please share your knowledge

regards
Tony

DW 4 introduced a lot of bugs that can cause program or system crashes. Nothing you can do about it but revert to DW 3 or tough it out until MM gets their act together.

Thumbs up

I've got DW 3, not 4, and it runs very nice without any bugs or problems

Hi Rayman,

Why win2k ? I had win98 before win_me and still locked up with win98, I checked the dreamweaver help line and they reckon it would more likely be a graphics card conflict. I have a NIVADA RIVA TNTR TNT2 model 64/model 64 pro 381. Could it be this card causing conflicts ?

Thanxs Tony

Because win2k is more stable... i could be your grafics card but even then win2k can handel it most of the time.

But it sucks with mutimedia like 3d max and games......

hope it helps......

i use it under win2k and have no problem at all.
